Synopsis: Throughout time, supernatural and variable tanuki loved to play tricks on the human race. One brave tanuki, Mameda, is no different. However there is one huge problem. She didn't emerge in the days of yore, she was born in modern, more cynical times! How can she consummate her mischievous tanuki destiny once supernatural shenanigans are a thing of the past? She discovers an angle once she meets Bunko, a master of the Japanese art of rakugo, who uses storytelling to seduce his audience. Mameda is determined to use rakugo to cast a spell on the human race, however first this trickster tanuki must convince the level-headed Bunko to take her on as an apprentice.
